You and your health visitor colleagues face the almost daily challenge of a distraught mother with distressed baby, usually with eczema, who has feeding, sometimes bowel problems and other symptoms. Many of these babies will have food allergies and will probably later develop asthma and allergic rhinitis. Others may have non-IgE delayed milk allergy or eosinophilic gastro-intestinal disorders (EGID), which cause pain and inflammation, affecting nutrition and growth. Join our experts who will deliver the latest information on cow’s milk allergies, eczema, respiratory allergies and anaphylaxis, plus a workshop on various creams and bandages. There will be patient case studies and opportunities to discuss your queries with the speakers, enabling you to feel more confident in managing food allergic children within your team or referring to an appropriate specialist.
